Chapter 26

1

[A Psalm] of David.
Judge3 me, O LORD; for I have walked1 in mine integrity: I have trusted1 also in the LORD; [therefore] I shall not slide.4

2

Examine3 me, O LORD, and prove16 me; try3 my reins and my heart.

3

For thy lovingkindness [is] before mine eyes: and I have walked98 in thy truth.

4

I have not sat1 with vain persons, neither will I go in4 with dissemblers.12

5

I have hated1 the congregation of evil doers;56 and will not sit4 with the wicked.

6

I will wash4 mine hands in innocency: so will I compass25 thine altar, O LORD:

7

That I may publish53 with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell15 of all thy wondrous works.12

8

LORD, I have loved1 the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.

9

Gather4 not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men:

10

In whose hands [is] mischief, and their right hand is full1 of bribes.

11

But as for me, I will walk4 in mine integrity: redeem3 me, and be merciful3 unto me.

12

My foot standeth1 in an even place: in the congregations will I bless17 the LORD.
