Chapter 19

1

kai meta tauta hkousa fwnhn oclou pollou megalhn en tw ouranw legontoV allhlouia h swthria kai h doxa kai h timh kai h dunamiV kuriw tw qew hmwn
19:1 And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:

oti alhqinai kai dikaiai ai kriseiV autou oti ekrinen thn pornhn thn megalhn htiV efqeiren thn ghn en th porneia authV kai exedikhsen to aima twn doulwn autou ek thV ceiroV authV
19:2 For true and righteous [are] his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.

kai deuteron eirhkan allhlouia kai o kapnoV authV anabainei eiV touV aiwnaV twn aiwnwn
19:3 And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.

kai epesan oi presbuteroi oi eikosi kai tessareV kai ta tessara zwa kai prosekunhsan tw qew tw kaqhmenw epi tou qronou legonteV amhn allhlouia
19:4 And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.

kai fwnh ek tou qronou exhlqen legousa aineite ton qeon hmwn panteV oi douloi autou kai oi foboumenoi auton kai oi mikroi kai oi megaloi
19:5 And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.

kai hkousa wV fwnhn oclou pollou kai wV fwnhn udatwn pollwn kai wV fwnhn brontwn iscurwn legontaV allhlouia oti ebasileusen kurioV o qeoV o pantokratwr
19:6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.

cairwmen kai agalliwmeqa kai dwmen thn doxan autw oti hlqen o gamoV tou arniou kai h gunh autou htoimasen eauthn
19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

kai edoqh auth ina peribalhtai bussinon kaqaron kai lampron to gar bussinon ta dikaiwmata estin twn agiwn
19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

kai legei moi grayon makarioi oi eiV to deipnon tou gamou tou arniou keklhmenoi kai legei moi outoi oi logoi alhqinoi eisin tou qeou
19:9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed [are] they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

kai epeson emprosqen twn podwn autou proskunhsai autw kai legei moi ora mh sundouloV sou eimi kai twn adelfwn sou twn econtwn thn marturian tou ihsou tw qew proskunhson h gar marturia tou ihsou estin to pneuma thV profhteiaV
19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See [thou do it] not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

kai eidon ton ouranon anewgmenon kai idou ippoV leukoV kai o kaqhmenoV ep auton kaloumenoV pistoV kai alhqinoV kai en dikaiosunh krinei kai polemei
19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him [was] called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

oi de ofqalmoi autou wV flox puroV kai epi thn kefalhn autou diadhmata polla ecwn onoma gegrammenon o oudeiV oiden ei mh autoV
19:12 His eyes [were] as a flame of fire, and on his head [were] many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

kai peribeblhmenoV imation bebammenon aimati kai kaleitai to onoma autou o logoV tou qeou
19:13 And he [was] clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

kai ta strateumata en tw ouranw hkolouqei autw ef ippoiV leukoiV endedumenoi bussinon leukon kai kaqaron
19:14 And the armies [which were] in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

15

kai ek tou stomatoV autou ekporeuetai romfaia oxeia ina en auth patassh ta eqnh kai autoV poimanei autouV en rabdw sidhra kai autoV patei thn lhnon tou oinou tou qumou kai thV orghV tou qeou tou pantokratoroV
19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

kai ecei epi to imation kai epi ton mhron autou to onoma gegrammenon basileuV basilewn kai kurioV kuriwn
19:16 And he hath on [his] vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

kai eidon ena aggelon estwta en tw hliw kai ekraxen fwnh megalh legwn pasin toiV orneoiV toiV petwmenoiV en mesouranhmati deute kai sunagesqe eiV to deipnon tou megalou qeou
19:17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;

ina faghte sarkaV basilewn kai sarkaV ciliarcwn kai sarkaV iscurwn kai sarkaV ippwn kai twn kaqhmenwn ep autwn kai sarkaV pantwn eleuqerwn kai doulwn kai mikrwn kai megalwn
19:18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all [men, both] free and bond, both small and great.

kai eidon to qhrion kai touV basileiV thV ghV kai ta strateumata autwn sunhgmena poihsai polemon meta tou kaqhmenou epi tou ippou kai meta tou strateumatoV autou
19:19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.

20

kai epiasqh to qhrion kai meta toutou o yeudoprofhthV o poihsaV ta shmeia enwpion autou en oiV eplanhsen touV labontaV to caragma tou qhriou kai touV proskunountaV th eikoni autou zwnteV eblhqhsan oi duo eiV thn limnhn tou puroV thn kaiomenhn en tw qeiw
19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

kai oi loipoi apektanqhsan en th romfaia tou kaqhmenou epi tou ippou th ekporeuomenh ek tou stomatoV autou kai panta ta ornea ecortasqhsan ek twn sarkwn autwn
19:21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which [sword] proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
